Global Agriculture Introduction

 Global Agriculture Introduction

Agriculture is the term used to refer to the ways and means in which crops and domestic animals sustain the global population by providing food and other products. Agriculture is also crucial to economic growth: in 2014, it accounted for one-third of global gross-domestic product (GDP). But agriculture-driven growth, poverty reduction, and food security are at risk: Climate change could cut crop yields, especially in the world’s most food-insecure regions.
